Game Design Document
This week I started developing my Game Design Document. I created it using the website Dundoc which had me very confused at the start but once I got the hang of it I was fine! The link to my document can be found here. I'm happy with what I have included so far and I I will update continuously over the next few weeks and my game develops!

Hi Sean, It Mia,
ReplyDeleteI just read your Game Design Document there and I have to say it was very well put together! I love the name of your game its very catchy and also the plot of the game is great! Your document has so much information you can tell you spent alot of time working on it, you definetly included so much more detail than I did in mine, and it was great to see as I felt as though I can vision your game now. Best of luck when creating the game I know it'll turn out great.

ReplyDeleteHi Sean, I hope you are doing well! I really loved looking at your Game Design Document I thought it was really well done and you explained your game in great detail. I do might suggest to maybe have music as your background as it really would liven up the game and since it is a driver simulation game maybe go for fast-pace music. Otherwise the idea is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHi Sean, just after finishing up on reading your game design document and I really liked your idea. I feel like you have your document laid out very well and is easy to read. You also put a lot of good information within the document, which really helped me to picture what you are envisioning for your finished game. I would recommend to maybe add some music to the background, which would liven the game up even more. Best of luck with the game!

ReplyDeleteHey Sean,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your GDD especially because it was a bit different than the rest that I've read so far. It's very detailed and it shows that you've put a lot of thought into the game which makes it easier for yourself when actually making the game. One thing I have a question about are the levels. I know you mentioned that there will only be one level but it would benefit the game in my opinion if you added maybe one more level just for replayability.
