Week 8 and finally the time has come for the last Unity Tutorial!! I have to say I definitely preferred the tutorials this semester than I did last semester. I felt it was much easier to keep on top of them and they didn't take nearly half as long and they did when I had to watch the video tutorials in semester 1. There were two parts to this weeks tutorial. The first one was titled "Audio" and the second one was titled "Build, Run and Distribute".  First up was audio. In this part of the tutorial I learned how to add audio sources to different game objects i.e when I pick up my HealthCollectible object it makes a sound.  For this weeks tech task I learned how to use Google Reverse Image Search.  I had this image on my desktop from a previous blog post so this was the image that I used.  The first step was to go to Google Images and click the camera (search by image) icon beside the search bar. The second step was to either upload or drag and drop an image and it will search for this image on the web. These were the results for the image that I used. 

For this weeks Tech Task I used the Google Search Bar as a Timer. I never knew you could do this and it's probably the easiest and quickest Tech Task I have done so far!  Image Information: Screenshot from Google Chrome

At the start of this semester I said to myself I would get a good chunk of the Unity Tutorials over with as fast as I could, because I done this I haven't had to do any Unity for the past few weeks! When I started doing this weeks tutorial it wasn't so bad as I knew it was the second last one of the semester (and hopefully ever).  I'm sure I have said it in previous blog posts but I much prefer the tutorials this semester. At the start of the semester when I seen there was no videos I was a bit worried I would have been able to follow but it's actually been easier reading step by step instructions.  The two parts of this weeks tutorials were "Visual Styling" and "World Interactions".
